    I would not be surprise to learn that other markets got a fold-down rear seat in the G4, and the extra structural bracing was bolted into cars destined for certain markets so they would be able to pass government crash tests.

    I'd love to see the trunk of a '19 G4 sold in, say, Malaysia. Or an '18, for that matter...

    Nice find on the pic, Cobrajet.

    I remember back in the day when that style of rear seat pass-through was a status symbol in certain imported cars because you could take your skis to the slopes, secure inside the car. They were specifically marketed as ski pass-throughs. 60/40 folding seatbacks weren't on the scene yet.

    Compared to a normal folding seat, though, it' not entirely useless, but mostly useless!!
