I got to thinking about how I had modified my '17 Mirage and so I wrote a post about it on my blog.

For me, two things makes my Mirage fun: the manual stick shift and choosing my revs, and the small size of the Mirage makes one feel as though they are driving a go kart.

Be careful any newbie Mirage or small car drivers: you have to be extra vigilant that other drivers see you pulling into traffic. I have been pro-active so many times now with my small little Mirage, saving my own butt.

As a driver of small cars for pretty much 25 years, I will say this is very true of all small cars, but a good "heads up" nonetheless.

My mom had a 1986 Mirage (Dodge Colt) in a champagne color and was always always getting hit. That color did not help visibility.

Excellent read! I threw on 205/50/15s on mine and it cornered MUCH better in sacrifice of mpg. But man, I need to get those 3 mods soon. Just having on the 205/50/15s made a pretty big difference in driving.

Suspension and tires have always been the most meaningful and simple modifications to make cars more fun without hurting reliability.
