Does Torque have a way to enter custom data? I would hope to find the formulas there.

Yes, but the configuration of the PIDs added by the the plugin is not visible.

Found TorqueScan, a plugin that apparently detects other PIDs. I have not tested it yet. It has not been updated in 2 years and it's not working for some.

I actually used the Mitsubishi LT plugin from the same author to do the searching for custom PIDs. I'll have to give the EX one a try to see what comes out on my '17.

Possibly. I mentioned in the OP that the formulas and definitions for the PIDs are usually trade-secret kind of stuff, but usually reverse engineering them isn't too hard, and a lot of times you can find the formulas online (maybe the Evo/Outlander crowd has done this already)

Yeah, there's a way to enter custom PIDs along with formulas, min/max, units, etc. You won't find the formulas for pre-existing PIDs in there though

    21. 22/23 don't respond on Mirages, so I've found.

Ah!, the EX version doesn't have the scanner feature.

Yup, and the LT version doesn't have the calculated PIDs. Ultimately, you need both plugins.
