FS: 4 New Dunlop Enasave Tires 165/65R14 - Mounted or Not

    Here's the deal:
The dealer I bought my 2015 Mirage from last August put a set of four brand new stock tires on the car before I bought it. I had them on the car for about a week before I put something different on the car. So, they've got less than 500 miles on them! They've been on the top shelf out in my garage for a year.

I hate to see good tires waste away, plus, they're taking up space in the garage. I'd like to get rid of them. I don't really want to ship them, but if you pay a reasonable price for them AND pay for shipping, I will.

I'll sell the whole set, as it came off of the car for $400.
4 Stock Steel Wheels (one of them has a slight curb dent in it, but it balanced fine, no vibration)
    4 Hub Caps
    4 Wheel Speed Sensors
4 Tires, mounted and balanced, ready to go

Or, I've got a friend who can dismount the tires for me I'll sell JUST the tires for $200.

If I have to ship them, you'll pay actual shipping cost.

Payment via Paypal before I even get off the couch.

    Simplify and add lightness.

Argh...I would have been interested, but I've already bought wheels and stuff for winter.

Very tempting. Shipping will be pretty killer though to Wisconsin I'd imagine.
Custom Mirage products: Cruise control kit, Glove box light, MAF sensor housing, Rear sway bar, Upper grill block

People keep talking about needing tires, and yet... these are still in my garage.

Yeah, the Enasaves are not a very popular tire among this crowd. I like them.

For what it's worth, I paid less than $400 for a set of unmounted Enasaves with little use, and a set of snow tires (also with little use), mounted on steel rims with TPMS sensors and hubcaps included.

You might want to reconsider your asking price.

I'm offering the tires for $200, is that not low enough?

Nobody's even making any offers. These tires are brand new and priced at less than half of retail.

Do you still have the hubcaps? If so, can you PM me with price? Thanks.

And they are offered used & as-is with no warranty or recourse to deal with defects.

Personally, if I'm looking at an expense that costs about half of buying new, I'll lean towards buying new in order to get the benefit of warranty.

It's too bad folks here bash the Enasaves. They are designed with a specific purpose and serve that purpose well. They are built for fuel economy, not cornering or comfort. I'm sure you would have sold them by now if they were not so derided. They are just fine in my opinion.

It's a pretty good deal...if somebody could pick them up in person. The only thing that is keeping me off of them is the cost of shipping. I am just south of Seattle...pretty much as far away from you as I could be.

That's more than a set of four new Federal SS-657 165/65R14 79T BSW Tires

    Cost per tire $48.47
    Total Cost $193.88

This listing is for new Federal SS-657 165/65R14 79T BSW Tires. Manufacturer part number: 126G4A.

The Federal SS-657 tire is a low priced all-season performance tire that is designed to give your sports car or sedan a quieter ride, more comfort and very good handling on wet and dry roads. The enhanced grooves are deeper and wider for improved hydroplaning prevention and water dispersion, while the hard tread rubber gives you longer mileage and more value compared to almost any other tire at this price point.
More details can be found at the vendor's website through the link provided.

In comparing what one receives for the cost (four tires + warranty) I would be inclined to look toward the new Federals.

Also refer to the tire comparison chart in the thread My new OEM-size tires: Vredestein Quatrac 5 for more info.
