Greyhound bus would probably be your best bet but even so, did some down and dirty guesswork on the zips and size and weights, shipping around $172 to Olympia:

Not sure what the other places like FedEx, UPS or the post office would charge. Not sure if the PO even ships stuff like this, never saw any while I worked there.

    Here's how this usually works:

If you're interested in the item, you make an offer.

To pipe up and say "you can get cheaper tires" doesn't help the seller. At all.

    Thanks for playing.

I understand that shipping is a killer, especially if you live all the way on the other side of the country. Nothing I can do about that.

I'm sure I could dump these on Craigslist locally, but I wanted to offer them here first, and who wants to deal with CL people?

Nobody's even making any offers. These tires are brand new and priced at less than half of retail.
    You asked a question.

You complained but the reality is you still haven't sold the tires. Someone was on here a few weeks ago talking about an El Cheapo tire for $25. I see my favorite tire range in price from $42 to $60 a tire. You are going to have a hard time selling used tires (although they are in new condition) for $200 plus shipping. That is more than what a new set of tires with warranty would cost.

I'll probably get bashed, but I would suggest selling for $200 and throw in the cheapest shipping you can find at no extra charge. I'm not interested in them either but you've got to give people some sort of incentive.

For what its worth, I've shipped car seats before using Grey Hound Bus and it worked out pretty good. The only drawback is you have to drop off and pickup the items at the local bus station. They do not do last mile delivery.

You guys just don't get it.

I know these tires "aren't popular". They're not popular with PEOPLE LIKE ME. That's why they're not on my car.

But, they ARE popular with a group of people who like to keep things original, who like the low rolling resistance alternative, etc.

And most importantly, in this thread, I'M TRYING TO SELL A SET OF THESE TIRES. So, if you're not interested in buying them, STFU!

    Geez.

I got a PM from someone last night who wants to buy them. As soon as he sends me payment, they're sold. I'll update the thread when that happens.
