I replaced my front discs on my 14 new Mirage at around 60,000kms on the car, left the drear drums original. Now at currently 102k on the car, the rear drums they do squeal grind a bit or a lot sometimes... coming to a stop. Car stops fine clutch helps, still Never squeals in the rain tho!

Your brakes look fine (assuming the inner pad...which we can't see...looks as good as your outer pad). You have plenty of pad material left. Drive it for another year and then post another photo at that time. We'll let you know how you're doing.

As Top Fuel said, the pad we can see has lots of life left. But the rotor looks groved in the first picture. It's not gonna kill you to leave it til the pads need to be replaced. I'd change that rotor when you replace the pads. Rotors are cheap and not worth getting turned anymore. If you change one side don't be cheap and change both sides.

Side note, does that rotor look different than the North American ones? I may be completely wrong but I don't remember that grove around the hub being there. I tried searching for pics but gave up already, and I'm too lazy to go outside and look.

Good catch. Now that you point it out, I see what you're saying.

Well...keep in mind that I disassembled and painted all of my brake components when my car was new (yeah...I'm anal). And also my car has had Krown applied yearly since I bought it.
