Untill I get mine I wont know how the tuning is gonna turn out. If I can get the Rom off the ECU I can start writing the deffinition file. If the Rom doesn't want to release from the ECU then we may be waiting awhile for other options. MMC flash will more then likely be available at somr time but I'm not a big fan of the money hungry greed style system they use for MMC so ill be continueing to look for better options.

Nearly all the US market Mitsubishi's besides the 4th Gen 1.5L mirage were all MAF. I'm sure there's a reason fo it but I'm not completely sure. If I was to guess I would say its because of the EGR system. Usually the Japanese cars are map based and don't have the EGR system. Maybe take a look to see if your MAP Mirages have an EGR system or not. But honestly the benifits of egr to fuel economy would lead me to believe that all the mirages would have it so I'm back to wandering why.

Call me a wuss, but if I bought a brand new car I couldn't see myself removing anything. If anything broke I'd be too mad at myself for breaking my new toy.

I'm not fixing it before it breaks, I'm trying to break it so that I can fix it. Plus, if you can make an additional 20-100hp and get a couple more mpg in the process, then I'm all for it.

Unable to get my hands on one of the Colt turbo motors or I'd consider it.
