This is 2018. You don't need to go have anyone read your codes or reset them for you.

This. And the free version of the Torque app on your phone.

    $12 on Amazon.

    Simplify and add lightness.

Finally found my old school, generic, code reader, 60 seconds, GONE. I'll have to see if it comes back.

Also found evidence of mice visiting in 2 of my cars. Set a trap laced with pnut butter and got one overnight. Last thing I need is mice chewing on my wiring, or whatever.

Funny you mention mice, a driver told me a mouse ate something they left in the car over the weekend.
Where there's one there's more. I saw a mouse on my deck last year, first time in 4 years living there I saw one. I stocked up on traps and caught at least 20 over the next 2 weeks. Thankfully I never did see any evidence of them them in the house or vehicles!

Well.... the code came back the second time I started the car. Grrrrr......
Sure hope my mouse family hasn't been chewing on some wires and created this issue.

The fuel tank circuitry has an access panel located under the rear seat cushion. As I recall, it's as simple as lifting the cushion and removing a few screws to see what's going on. Here's hoping it's only a loose connection.

I just discovered a squirrel in my attic. Also have mice. If I vanish, it's probably because they joined forces to defeat me.
