    Will It Fit?

I've found a set of wheels that I like. They're a 15x6 +50 offset. I know the factory wheel specs (14x4.5 +46). However, these are a bit wider, but with a higher offset. While I'm not worried about the 15mm more of outer clearance (on the wheels' faces), they will have 23mm less inner clearance toward the shocks/struts.

Think there'd be issues with hitting suspension components on the wheels' backsides?

According to this very cool calculator:
    https://tiresize.com/wheel-offset-calculator/

My 195/50-15's on 38mm offset are .29" closer to the inside. I've never had any problems with rubbing on the inside. (outside on the rear fenders... that's a different story) The take-away there is that you've got about .3" or more of clearance on the inside.

Your 175 tire on a 50mm offset puts you at .39", so you're a little closer than I am, but only a tenth of an inch.

If there is interference, the good news is that it's a problem you can solve with a wheel spacer. Being too far out is a much more serious problem because you can't fix it with a wheel spacer.

3mm wheel spacers are available. That's .11". That would take care of it.

Or, you could go 5 or 6mm probably without having to fit longer wheel studs. (always verify that, of course)

What wheels are they? The only 50mm 4x100 15x6 wheels I remember were Saturn and maybe some Honda wheels.
    Simplify and add lightness.

Check the photo in this post. This is how much clearance I have in the rear with my current setup.

    Very helpful; thanks.

It appears the 15x6 +50 setup would be .19" (about 5mm) in closer to the strut. In your opinion, do you think you could go in another 5mm without rubbing?

    How about the fronts?

Yeah...that wouldn't be a problem in the rear. I'm not sure about the front...but like Loren said...if you need to buy yourself a few mm you could always use a spacer.

They're actually some wheels from a Nissan March in Japan via Croooober (Impul WRC)

Lots and lots of wheel-and-tire on this presumably NEW Mirage G4 at Alan Webb Mitsubishi...right in your neck of the woods. You could always go check it out!

I do wonder if the G4 has more rear fender clearance than the hatchback.
