Ever come up with your own Mirage commercial...in your head?

We all wonder why Mitsubishi doesn't advertise the Mirage more. Hell, they don't seem to advertise it AT ALL.

But how would we advertise it? I already have my own commercial written in my mind.

    (Light, comedic music)

(Exterior, car dealership) - A younger couple pulls up to a dealership in an older, well-used car.

(Interior, car dealership) - A salesman points the couple to an ENORMOUS new SUV on the showroom floor. Called the "Excessor 3000", or something. The couple notices a sign in the window that says "SALE, SALE, SALE! $52,995!"

The sales guy puts two fingers to his temple, appears to focus very hard, and the door of the SUV magically opens by itself. An entry ladder drops down! Looks of consternation on the faces of the couple.

(Interior, SUV) - The couple enters the SUV and finds a huge and comically complex dashboard with switches, buttons, displays, and flashing lights. Like the cockpit of an airliner. I'd even put a couple Easter eggs in here and have a tiny 'flux capacitor' or a display that says 'missile lock'. Maybe one of them dares push a button and the seat starts vibrating violently or something humorous pops out of the dash. The couple just look at each other incredulously.

(Exterior, car dealership) - We see the couple leaving.

(Exterior, Mitsubishi dealership) - The couple pulls up to a Mitsubishi dealership.

(Interior, Mitusbishi dealership) - The couple approaches a Mirage, and the salesman...with a wry smile...hands them an actual METAL KEY. One of them enthusiastically snatches it out of the salesman's hand. They push the keyless entry button, the parking lights flash, the doors slam shut. The key goes into the ignition, the car starts, the heater is turned up with a knob, the radio is turned up with a knob, the window is rolled down with a push of a button. The couple look at each other and smile.

(Exterior) - We see the Mirage driving away, with the tagline, "The Mitsubishi Mirage. Let's keep it simple!"

What say you? Pretend you are working for Mitsubishi's North American PR department!

That's a great price for all those features. Where can I get one?
