Mine came standard with the arm rest. It is very short and clunky to use. Certainly not made for comfort! I like the added center storage arm rest. I wonder if I can use it as well as the arm rest already attached to my seat/

The Yaris armrest suggested by Alex1a1f looks much better than the standard Mirage armrest. If my Mirage armrest was gone, I wouldn't even miss it. I find it worthless. The Yaris armrest looks way more comfortable and more useful for storage.

I like that 'unique handling'. The body roll doesn't bother me, but the necessity to be always alert and make frequent corrections to stay centered in the lane at highway speeds isn't appreciated. That's a kind of uniqueness I could do without. Mine's a 2015 and I have had a 4 wheel alignment check.

That's because the body is moving and the notification you get is delayed by a second due to the body not moving at all in the same way that the driveline is.
It's the same in my 5000lb Jeep on 35" tires. With the sway bar removed it wanders like crazy. Pop it in and it's so much easier to control. Bit of an extreme obviously because a Jeep without a sway bar is... sketchy.

It has been 4 weeks now. I just rolled over the 2500 mile mark. Put gas in last night before we got snow here. This was a bit of a surprise... Average was over 50mpg!!! This little car is impressive when it comes to sipping fuel

I've been close to 25 miles from Wisconsin from the UP way Michigan in my Mirage back when it was almost brand new that same summer, and I was averaging 4.3 L/ 100 kms or over 50 mpg, my personal best, on Mackinac bridge.
Expect your Mirage to get a bit less economy in the wintertime, and I would recommend oiling the car, if winter driven, saving it from the salt on the road during winter (if Wisc. is anything like Ont., Canada).
