Question EVAP canister bracket a good place to mount an anti-static strap?

I bought one of these anti-static straps: https://www.rockauto.com/en/parts/ga...atic+strap,359

Would the EVAP canister bracket be a good place to mount it? I was thinking of attaching it to one of these:

If you're thinking about static shock, would it not be better if you use this one instead?

Evap canister is a reasonable place to attach the strap. However these straps generally aren't really necessary since believe it or not tires have enough conductance to bleed off static charge buildup. There is a fair amount of carbon black in tires which provides some of this conductance. Just the dirt and dust on the tires can conduct away static charge too.

I'm not sure placing a static strap close to fuel vapor storage is a wise choice.

What problem are you trying to solve with this?
