Example: Just dont dog it out or if the eco light is on your not putting to much pressure on your engine/tranny. Any advice is much appreciated.
You shouldn't have any issues getting 175K out of your CVT if you just do regular maintenance. The JATCO CVT7 is designed for engine up to 150hp. Your 74hp Mirage is not going to overtax it.

65k miles and no issues. I don’t pamper it and I do a lot of manual downshifting and upshifting with no problems.

Sunbelt Valve Body Builders transmission shop videos on the Jatco JF015E CVT

Though these videos are for the Nissan version, I hope they are still somewhat useful to our community. If anyone is able to point out differences or similarities between the Nissan and the Mitsubishi versions.

Thanks to Sunbelt Valve Body Builders for providing this information!

For those that care, the bearing I've seen crap out and blow pieces around 3 or so times is in the first vijeo at 16:07. It the thrust washer in the back side of the input shaft housing.

I wonder if these cvt's are interchangeable by just changing the bellhousing case? It's hard to say for sure but everything else looks pretty similar except the axle seals.

Do not overheat the CVT and you good to go.
Maybe why a CVT requires 7.4 quarts of fluid vs 1.7 quarts for a manual. Slightly more engine coolant is needed for a CVT Mirage, too.

Found some more videos on the Nissan version of the Jatco JF015E. Sunbelt took one apart, here The Labor Service covers assembly.

I'm impressed with the level of detail provided in these videos. It makes me appreciate the knowledge, skills and effort needed not just for doing this work, but also in recording and posting it for us. I mean, this is a pretty complex piece of machinery and this guy makes it look easy - he's not exactly referring to the manual during this process! (at least not on camera...)

Thanks to The Labor Service for providing these videos.
