Weighed the hood, since it's off the car and in the house.

20.5 pounds including the insulation and washer hoses and jets.

    Simplify and add lightness.

I just replaced a hatch. The window shattered when it was parked inside. Second time that's happened now. I'll try to weigh the old hatch if I get a chance. Most of the glass is still taped in place. It won't be deadly accurate but better than nothing.

    From another thread:

Weighed the car today on very accurate scales and came up with 1936 pounds. But, the spreadsheet that I've been keeping didn't jive with that, so I had to do some digging to find out why. After updating a few weights that I had estimated, and accounting for a few things that I'd overlooked, my estimated weight (based on adding/subtracting from published stock weight) is within 6 pounds of actual. A gallon of gas weighs about 6 pounds, so I'm okay with that.

Some other stuff I weighed today or pulled from notes:

    Spare Tire: 19.1 pounds
    Jack: 3.3 pounds
    Tool Kit: 2.8 pounds
Rear Seat Headrests: 1.1 pounds each
    Floor Mats (set): 4 pounds
Battery Tray: 2.8 pounds (shelf, plastic tray and tie-down)
    Stock wheels/tires: 25.4 pounds
Stock 165/65-15 Enasave Tire: 13 pounds (from Tire Rack)
    Simplify and add lightness.

Removed the rear seat and associated stuff yesterday. Put it all on the scale today:

    Left Headrest: 1.1#
    Right Headrest: 1.1#
Left Seat Back (includes center seatbelt reel and brackets): 13.7#
Right Seat Back (includes brackets): 11.2#
Seat Back Bottom Bolts (6): 0.4#
Seat Back Latching Posts (with 6 bolts): 1.0#
Left Seatbelt Reel (with 3 bolts): 2.2#
Right Seatbelt Reel (with 3 bolts): 2.2#
    Seatbelt Buckles (3, with 3 bolts): 1.3#
Spare Tire Cover & Carpet: 3.2#
    Cargo Cover: 1.4#
    Simplify and add lightness.
