It's getting wet out again. Any tips for defogging the windshield?

I'm a tall person. I breathe towards and see out of the top of my windshield. Very top. You know, the part of the car that doesn't defog.

I keep a squeegee in the car, so if I enter it wet I can swipe the top of the windshield every 5 minutes.

Has anybody without air conditioning mounted a small 12v fan or anything to help the weak airflow? I mean, the car can be swelteringly hot but I always get a couple inches of fog. And if I leave it hot enough to sweat like mad but deal with the windshield, I have to crack a rear window. Which means more moisture gets added, which eventually tips the scale to more fog.

Any advice? Squeegeeing on the highway is fun and all but, you know...

Keep a bag of rice in the car? Any anti fog products from rainx or anything?

I've used Rain-X Anti Fog in the past with decent results.

I'm tall myself and had same problem. For years I've always installed vent visors and partially open the rears not below the shade which would allow air to come in, but above and allow air out to get the humid air out, while not letting any in. I have no problems in the Mirage Anymore.

Alright. Just picked some up. Doesnt have to do much, just enough to keep the car half a degree cooler when driving haha.

Wife hates the look of vent shades annoyingly.

I think a big key is just keep your fan blasting on high. Heat definitely help, but lots of airflow to get the air up to the top is going to be key. You're probably already doing this already though.

Dumb question, do you have the heater controls set on recirculate or fresh air? I've had a few drivers complain about fogged up windows driving around with recirculate on. Ac helps but I assume you don't have that?

Otherwise, maybe one of those silica pack things people use in motorhomes? https://www.amazon.ca/Dri-Z-Air-DZA-U-11501-X-Pot/dp/B000PDUV60

That stuff is odd...but it works. I noticed that under extremely wet conditions, my window might still fog up a little. But any moisture on the window was actually clear where the Rain-X was applied. So it still helped.
