Differences between Mirage colors and trim

So I have always wondered this because we have two mirages.

The black one has body colored and body painted window frame B pillars. It's very clean and streamlined looking.

Our wine red mirage has flat black B pillars. Blah.

    Both are SE trims.

Very odd. You would think the black car would just use the flat black ones too but no, they are much nicer due to being the same as the cars paint and very smooth as if it's one piece blended with the door.

    Anyone know why?

Looking on Google images this is the only other mirage picture I saw with body colored B pillar besides black cars. And all other orange cars I saw have black B pillars

Every Mirage has the same colour B pillars. Black. From bottom barrel model to the fully loaded GT.

The base model has black door handles then if you go up to the top end models, you will say have a green car and green door handles, and the base green car will have black door handles.

If you clicked the link I provided you will see a orange mirage with color matched B pillars.

And what I'm saying is my black se mirage has Paint matched black B pillars, not flat black pillars like most mirages. So my black mirage is not the same as my wifes wine red with the flat black pillars they use in all mirages

Sorry you are right for sure partly my internet has been glitching all day with the high winds. Fun times with driving my Mirage on a day like today! My apologies again. My pearl thunder grey is actually both Paint and the standard flat black on the b pillar. I was going to write after doing errands and looking. Not part of the refreshed model then either eh.

You can order the b pillar sticker in Canada too, one of the many options they Mitsu offer. I have the brochure somewhere.

The option you can't get in Canada unfortunately, but sure can (or could) in the UK is the off-centred stripe. Would look amazingly awesome on my dark grey Mirage. Maybe I can order it somehow?
