More professional/ comfortable driver seat options?

Hey guys has anyone found any more professional or comfortable driver seat options, something like recaro or sparco?

Does your Mirage have the 4-way or 6-way adjustable seat?

I find the adjustable bottom cushion makes all the difference in seat comfort for me.

You should be able to use the seats from a Lancer or Outlander Sport.

When I first read this, I thought you meant a truck or bus driver's seat.

I have a 2018 SE.. The seats are terrible. The driving position is very uncomfortable. All my test drives were fine, but I drive about 600+ miles a week. Something has got to make this thing more comfortable..

Heated seats really make a world of difference. I have the Rostra kit installed in mine.

That's what I've always thought. The base model seats without height adjustment are just too tall. It's a personal preference thing. The seating position is more "minivan", and I like a seating position that's more "sportscar". Could solve that by upgrading to the height-adjustable seats, I just haven't run across a set of those for dirt cheap yet.

I've been pondering other ways to do it with modified seat brackets to bring it down. But, if I'm going to do all of that, I might as well install better seats while I'm at it. And I just haven't wanted to spend the money... or the time.

But, a friend of mine was just liquidating some stuff from his garage and gave me a set of 2003 Miata seats. The leather on the driver's seat bottom is shot, but otherwise they're fine, and complete with slider rails. Much better seats with proper side bolsters.

So, eventually, I'll start playing with those. Verify that they'll fit in the car, and make up some brackets for them. Don't know when.

Before anyone says it, yes, replacing the seats I will lose the side airbags that are installed in the seats. I'll properly bypass them so that the rest of the SRS system works as designed. I'm okay with that. I drove tiny 70's era British cars even into the 2000's. It's sort of like riding a motorcycle. You just accept that your life depends on good driving habits. Don't want to die? Don't crash!
    Simplify and add lightness.

How confident are you about this? The rear bolt down points on the drivers seat in the mirage are offset height wise.
