Omg. I put some Denso plugs in and my gas mileage dropped to 34mpg from an easily reached 44mpg. I'm running back to NJK immediately

I find that interesting, because rockauto.com carries the Denso plugs (not NJK) for the Mirage.

DENSO 3433 {Click Info Button for Alternate/OEM Part Numbers} Iridium Long Life Info
    Gap .044

Anyone else have a negative (or positive) experience with Denso Iridium plugs?

So, do we have an agreement that whoever puts a set of NGK Ruthenium plugs in their Mirage will report any change in fuel economy?

Remember: the thread question is about what spark plug choices might give better miles per gallon.

I've actually been in contact with NGK. They contacted me a few weeks ago to ask if I would like a set of Ruthenium HX plugs for testing. I told them that I'd love a set to try out in the Mirage. Sadly, they said that they made a mistake in their catalog, and that the plugs they have listed for the Mirage aren't actually correct. They are working to fix it. That being said, I would recommend waiting until they have this issue cleared up until actually ordering a set of Ruthenium HX plugs that are claimed to fit the Mirage. They said plugs for the Mirage will likely be available sometime in the summer of 2021, but they actually haven't been approved yet.
Custom Mirage products: Cruise control kit, Glove box light, MAF sensor housing, Rear sway bar, Upper grill block

Current project: DIY Nitrous oxide setup for ~$100

    Ouch... too bad about that..

Their statement looks absurd to me though as the specs of the Ruthenium is about the same as their Iridium

I have put my order for NGK 96355 on hold due to unavailability. I'm looking forward to try it as soon as it will become available.

The European models have either NGK DILFR6A11 or Denso FK20HR11 installed as OEM.

In Europe, the NGK usually sell around €14.- or so, and the DENSO at around €9.- each.

Isn't it crazy how the same product, the spark plug is 14 euros which is about $22? Yet the same plugs just cost me $6.87 CDN which is about $4.50 US,

That is why I use the cheaper DENSO, which as far as I can tell, are practically identical.
