    Got the new bearing, Mitsu part number: 3885a039 . Bearing Reads: NTN AU0750 Japan 170606061928 Black end presses into knuckles, shiny side faces hub/wheel.

    Fummims, what ball park estimate when one should consider replacing the wheel bearings? Or are these suppised to last 300km?

    I'd just check'em for play at every oil change or tire rotation, personally. Just takes a couple seconds per tire.

    Meh, this is the first mirage wheel bearing I've seen with play in it. It was f'erd pretty good. As in, should have been replaced many moons ago. Every other one I've replaced on these things had zero play in them(when assembled) but were noisy af. Usually you can hear them get noisy over time and sound like you're driving with old crappy mud tires. Loud and howl a lot. Insert wife joke here:

    After watching that I'm thinking the best way to replace a Mirage front wheel bearing is to drive the old Mirage into a pond and buy a new Mirage!

    I didn't watch it yet. Like clutches, wheel bearing aren't hard to replace if you have the right tools.
    If you don't know how to do something you can always ask a grown up.
