if you noticed the air box they cut it so that they can twist it facing infront of the engine bay
That's a lot of extra horse power there on the rad support. Gotta be at least an extra 70hp there.

At least 70hp. I think it's probably pushing closer to an extra 100hp with all of those stickers.

I wonder what that red block with 2 hoses and a breather on top, next to the coolant overflow is? My guess is a flux capacitor.

That was my second guess. I don't see a need for one on a Mirage. Maybe it's building up too much crankcase pressure with all those stickers.

I've run K&N filters for years on my cars. My other car—2007 Toyota Yaris—has had a K&N filter for 11 years and 95,000 miles. No issues with sensors or anything. Ditto that on the multitude of other cars I've owned. I do run paper filters on my off-road vehicles as, allegedly, the K&Ns don't filter quite as well as paper. This seems to be the other great debate with regards to K&N vs. paper filters. However, I am considering getting the K&N for the Mirage. And since it's reusable, it'll pay for itself in just a couple filter changes. I just bought paper filter for my Mirage and it was $25 through NAPA.

The problems are caused by over oiling the filter. They're too much work for me. I'm lazy.

Years ago I put a k&N cold air kit(not just a drop in filter) on a co workers 98 chev truck. I did it at a buddy's shop who had a dynojet. We did a before and after test and it actually made what it claimed to on the box to the wheels. It was an extra 15-20hp iirc. I was pretty surprised by the numbers.

Is that with or without the stickers?

One of these days, when its warm, I would love to test the restriction of the stock intake system. My guess is that it isn't very restrictive, but I'm sure there is a little bit of something on the table as far as gains go.

Custom Mirage products: Cruise control kit, Glove box light, MAF sensor housing, Rear sway bar, Upper grill block
