I thought ALL Mirages were going to come standard with cruise control in 2019? But that's not what the website is indicating for the 2019 ES hatchback?!?

I read months ago that cruise & 6-way adjustable driver's seat will be standard on all 4 Mirage hatchback trim levels. If you prefer a manual, the 2019 base level ES model is nicely equipped now.

Yep, I am stocked. The 19 ES hatch is not out yet, but if that happens I am sold on one. I drove in my 14 DE from LA to TN to FL and back and cruise was a must. If the 6way seat and can add an armrest till with give a run for the accent I wanted to get in the future.

I just realized that there isn't any information on the Mitsubishi website for the 2019 Mirage Hatchback yet. I was looking at the 2018 specs.

Maybe Mitsubishi wants the model years to match the real year.

I'm contemplating about trading my Mirage in but I'm waiting for the Turbocharged models :P, haha. But really, cruise control would have been really nice since I commute about 45 minutes total in one day.

You can add cruise to any base model Mirage that doesn't have it. Your location is listed as Minnesota. White Bear Mitsubishi (twin citiies area) will add an after market cruise to any Mirage. If you are not interested in doing it yourself, you have that option. Adding cruise is way cheaper than buying a new car.

If I were a Mirage owner that's really interested in upgrading, I would wait until about a year from now. If you can live with what your have, you could wait & see what 2020 might bring. It may be something really new that really trips your trigger. If not, that would be the best time to jump on a discounted 2019 Mirage deal. I really think the ES base model has become a nice package.

Personally, I look forward to the day when my 2017 Mirage ES (manual) is older and not worth all that much. At that point, I will drop comprehensive/collision insurance (carry liability only). That's when a small car really become cheap transportation!!!

I would never skip out on purchasing a car I want just because it didn’t come with cruise control. It is very easy to add a high-quality cruise control unit to a Mitsubishi Mirage Without it looking like something that was put together on someone’s kitchen table.

Rostra Has some high-quality kits that are custom desiged for the vehicle it is being installed on. They are pretty much plug-and-play, all you do is plug in some connectors, connect 12 V and ground using the easy to follow instructions, mount your cruise control switch, and then go enjoy the ride. You don’t have to screw with programming the car’s computer.

This is what I have in my 2014 Mirage:
