Thread: Engine & transmission aftermarket parts index

So I stumbled across this http://garageforum.org/Thread-MMC-AS...0-Multi-NO-RUS Looks like it could be very useful. I'm downloading it. I guess I gotta sign up to that forum and ask for the password though.
It appears to be the parts lookup program that the dealers use? Would save a lot of time and arguments with certain people behind the counter.

Edit: well, looks like I can't register. Their stupid ass forum keeps glitching and I can't get past the registration page. Keeps saying pick a number at the bottom after I did. Tried 10 times now.

I fell down a rabbit hole looking up that LUK clutch number and found this website- https://www.onlinecarparts.co.uk/oenumber/2304a041.html
Looking up random Mirage parts and then hitting the "suitable cars" section is interesting. Looked up ball joint and it shows that some Fiat Pickup uses the same one....as well as some US made Ford Taurus???? Odd.

It also shows the parts that Foama posted about, certain smart, Fiat's and Daihatsu share some of the same parts, even Toyota shared the same air filter for some car.

good find, maybe I'll get more spring options

I was going to ask if anyone had tried the Amazon clutch offerings. My Mirages don't need but my Vue might and I'm hoping the quality is there in the Mirage, and Saturn also. $130 is great deal, through out bearing, clutch and pressure plate.
