Question Mirage Hatcback but with G4 front

    Hi There,

I just want to ask since i saw someone had a change in his Hatchback.

Does the Hatchback and the Sedan Mirages has the same frame?

Is it a fit when we try to change the Hood, front bumper, side fenders and HLs of a Hatchback to a G4?

Lets say both models are 2015 or lower hatcback and G4.

In the United States, the 2017 Mirage G4 first appeared with the updated 2017 Mirage hatchbacks. The fronts of the Mirage & Mirage G4 aren't the same within the same model years even. The Mirage has more chrome up front than the G4. Thus, they have a slightly different look.

I am not answering your question. Can a person install a G4 front to a Mirage & vice-versa? Someone that has worked on both cars will have to answer that.

You could install a G4 front end on any 14 or above hatchback. You'll need both fenders, both headlights, a hood, bumper cover, top and bottom grill. The core and frame underneath didn't change.

I thought about this, because I like the G4 front, but love my GT headlights too much lol.

not sure what yr is the hatch but by looks of it its 13-14 since the antenna is still at the front.

i ask this because i wanted to do the same, i was just wondering if all would fit the 15 hatch without modifying anything. like a plug n play sort a thing hahaha

Very cool! I was wondering when I would see someone do this. We should set up a matchmaking service here for members who want to swap fronts . Would be interesting to see the "mail slot" nose on a G4.

For a cheap economy car, I don't think any of the fronts look all that bad. Personally, I don't think the G4 front adds anything special to the hatchback's appearance.

It is nice to know the fronts are interchangeable, however. If I ever hit a deer or something, I would probably replace the damaged parts with whatever is cheapest.

I like my Mirage, because it was cheap to buy. It seems to be very reliable, & it is very economical to drive. Interchangeable parts would be another plus, because it gives a person more repair options.
