The factory Mirage armrest is so small that it wouldn't be in the way, but I would still save my money & go with the heated dog armrest!

The dog armrest is way more expensive than the plastic bit from Mitsubishi but a million times more awesome!

Well, add me in to the rear axle issues. I brought it to the selling dealer and requested a printout and sure enough it's off a bit. So they ordered an axle and now I have to wait for it to show up.

The service manager told me that Mitsubishi is aware there is an issue with them and apparently reworked something at some point so hopefully the new part is okay.

Well...I believe yours is the first 2019 that we have heard about with a rear axle problem. So you've got that going for you.

    Well...unfortunately we've heard that story before...since 2015!

I'm sure the new part will fix your problem. Be sure to follow-up and let us know what happens!

Just found out the rear axle is on backorder and unavailable. Great! Apparently if the tires are messed up from this they'll replace them but who knows. Also noticed the car has a bunch of little chips on the front bumper and hood from being driven in the winter so that paint protection garbage they sold me didn't protect it against the salt and ice from the winter. Doesn't even have 2000 miles on it yet.

That's a bummer. If your rear alignment isn't too far off, then you may not experience significant tire wear. But that's good of them to accept responsibility if a tire replacement becomes necessary.

No, I don't think it's too far off but I'm impatient and wish I could have found this forum first before I bought the car because I would have made them check the alignment before buying it.

Just keep them rotated regularly and hopefully they'll wear fine.
