    Could it be that its very cold where you are, and that you drive short distances (less than at least a half hour or so) thus the oil not reaching normal operating temperature?
    If thats so, a grill block would help some.

    Does it taste okay?
    I'd be as concerned about the smell of the engine oil as much as I am about how much it shakes at idle. But if you're worried and the oil is pretty runny and contaminated just get it tested. If you do actually have fuel in your oil you'd likely see your oil level rise. I'm sure your car is fine, used oil stinks.

    I second this. Mine always smells a little fuel-y, and my car's engine is fine. Maybe becuase I didn't get the "cold weather/rich fuel" recall done yet. But my oil level isn't climbing and my fuel economy is the same (good) as always.

    It is cold where I am but ita just normal winter temperatures but I tend to drive it 40 minutes to and from work.

    Im know the smell of used syn oil but I've never smelt fuel in car oil before. I'm not gonna taste it lol but I did order the test.

    Is there a cold weature/running rich recall? I was wondering that myself.

    That was for older 2014 & 2015 models. I'm pretty sure it has been done on yours. Why not take it to your dealer and let them check it?
