    50$ armrest on amazon

Saw it a couple weeks ago and didn't order, then saw it was gone, saw it back yesterday and ordered one. Just an fyi as it's waaay cheaper than the 150$ ones.
I'll update when I get it otherwise thought I would post.

Thanks for sharing this. I ordered a Yaris armrest on eBay about 3 years ago and it was made of PU leather and the leather all flaked off, it looks disgusting.

I wonder if this one would hold up better?

Ha! I read the title to your thread as 50¢ (cents.) Talk about wishful thinking.

    Looks like a nice design.

Ya I'm wondering, but for 50$ I'll give it a shot

It looks like a great deal! The factory one is very small. If I didn't have it, I don't think I would miss it.

This $50 one looks good. Once you get it, you will have to share your thoughts!

    Good find!

Here is how my yaris armrest from eBay that I bought 3 years ago for $29 is holding up: As you can see I recommend all to steer clear of PU leather (bonded leather) because it flakes off and looks disgusting after 6 months. But the $50 Amazon one also says "leatherette" which means fake leather and it may end up looking like this one.

So be careful before purchasing. As far as mine goes it is still comfortable, just aesthetically unpleasant. Maybe I should sand it down with sandpaper and it will be all a smooth grey.

3 years in and mine doesn't look like that at all, no peeling or flaking. I do wipe it down often with Meguiers Leather wipes though.

Maybe the critters living in the back seat clawed it up?

I've a similar one for my previous ride, no such issue, except some normal wear and tear. I do wipe with leather protector once every 1-2 months.
