    I still think Mitsubishi should offer the option of the 1.5L turbo from the Eclipse Cross if someone wanted it. Doubling the car's output would really speed it up I think.

    Has anyone (most likely outside of north america) looked into a 4A9 swap? It would seem it would be just like the mirage engine plus a cylinder. It doesn't seem like they were sold in the US vehicles. They are mated to Aisin transmissions for the manual version so maybe they could bolt in.

    Is the 4A92 the exact same design as the 3A92 just with one extra cylinder?

    So you'd just have to widen the car by an extra cylinder width and it'd bolt right up.

    I'd suggest ditching the passenger side motor mount, shouldn't be needed on a less shaky 4 cyl..
