Quick update- 138k miles on my 2015 Mitsubishi Mirage. Had to tow it to get new key made but besides that no issues. Burns oil a bit every time I get it changed

How many times have you changed the CVT transmission fluid?

Thats bizarre, aren't mfg's supposed to be able to supply parts for a certain amount of years from new?

Mine is only at 40000kms and has been ok so far. They sure don't being cold. I floored it after driving for 10 mins in -30c and it just screamed for a second or 2 til I let off. Otherwise it seems to be working as it should. It doesn't seem to upshift as agressively as the 15 and 17's around here though.

I concur its slightly less refined, the 2014, than our 2017, but the mpg is better in the 2014 even with the cheap non llr 175 65 r14s on em. 2014 seems programmed for pure economy and Mitsu spiced em up each successive year.

I just drove a 15' with 150k km/93k miles and what a difference. My 14 is a slug in comparison, not sure if it just programming or what but I seem to have to give mine way more throttle to get it to respond the same as the 15. Taking off from a stop is requires way less throttle in the 15. I wonder if i scored a clutch or f'erd the belt a little when I floored it cold that once when it was pretty cold and it screeched? Seemed a little different ever since that day. Thought it was just the cold til now.

Man I dont know. I'm constantly driving the 2014 and the 2017 and I hardly feel any difference at all? Maybe because the 2017 G4 weighs more the extra 4hp doesnt make a difference. I'm still of the mind the 2014 and 2020s are 98.3% the same. Fummins are there any advantages of the 2014/15s over newer Mirages in your opinion?

The 14' + 15's have smaller brakes so you can put 13's on them. That's the only advantage I can think of other than the chrome won't get you home look.

13s sound intriguing as hell! Would that give better mpg or the ability to put on thicker/taller tires?

109 000km (bought it on 58000km), change 1L CVT fluid every 5000km (then change engine oil), every 40 000km change 4.5L CVT Fluid and paper filter, cleaning magnits. I use Kixx CVTF fluid (4.3$ for 1L).

    No problems for now.
    2013 Mirage from Japan 3A90.

Here you can see on last foto? how looks old fluid and new fluid then I change it on 100 000km
