Ive scoured the internet and I of yet seen a percentage chart for premature CVT failure for Mitsubishi or Nissan? Just anecdotal opinions.

CVT oils changed once at 80k km, no filters.

I would just buy a cheap used one for 1500 bucks and have the mechanic throw it in, buying new is insane
I have a 2017 G4 sedan. I did a full service myself at 30,000 miles at home. Changed the CVT fluid and filter, dropped the pan and cleaned the pickup screen and two magnets. Refilled with Amsoil synthetic hi-temp CVT fluid (cheaper than Mitsubishi fluid). No problems, runs perfect.
I live in Vegas so 110-112 degrees Fahrenheit on some days. Number one killer for CVT is heat.
I'm at almost 50,000 miles so getting ready for another service at 60,000 miles.
