I also have the armrest installed and like Tim find it a useful addition - particularly on longer trips.
I believe it should be standard fit on the top spec models along with a trunk light.

    Cheers

    Malcolm

I completely agree Malcolm. The dealer wanted $250 to install the trunk light. I passed on that!
    Cheers,

Is that the genuine one or a DIY one?

Uh ... definitely not genuine Mitsubishi. It does gives way much more light than original pathetic bulb. I will post the update picture later

Thanks for the pictures Tim. They gave a better perspective than the promotional photos to how the armrest looks in comparision the rest of the interior. The cupholder housed in the lid for back seat passengers is a nifty idea as well. It's odd that this option is not offered in the US

Thanks for posting those pics, Tim.

I love the back seat cupholder built-in! That's funny. (I can just hear the arguments with the rear seat passenger: "Are you finished your drink yet? My arm is getting tired.")

Most of my driving tends to be on the highway, so I appreciate an arm rest as well... yet my car doesn't have one either (not even optional).

My pleasure. I don't why all accessories are not available to all markets considering it's a global car. I would have thought this would be a popular add on in the US and Canada.
    Cheers,

I agree, this is quite odd. I mean its not like it costs them anything to make parts available in other markets...
