How often do you do 'bulk' purchases of new delivery cars?

Not surprised, I had a couple of those pickups and never had a issue with either one.

My buddy had a B2000 and it was pretty sweet back in the day to drift in snowy parking lots

A year or so prior he had purchased a base model '85 B2000 that was so basic, in fact, that it didn't even have a radio. Turns out he couldn't live without one, so in the fall of '86 he finally took it in to the dealership to have a radio put in. Mom got a call from the dealership about two hours later, and she knew what he was about to do! The '85 was traded in for a new '87, which was quite a different truck.

He put 376,000 miles on that truck before finally wrecking it in 2001. I heard that truck start every morning for years and years, and to this day I can still tell an '80s B-Series from any other truck by the way it sounds when it starts.

Toyotas get all the glory, but give me an old Mazda any day.

A hammer will last forever if you change the head & the handle occasionally.

My dad bought the most stripped 1989 toyota pickup you could get. Of course power nothing, but also no radio and....no right side, side mirror and also no rear bumper. He drove that trouble free until 2003 when he decided he finally wanted more options and bought a loaded 2003 Taco.....which is what hes driving now. Only issue ever on that was a fuel pump under recall that the dealer did proactively. So two vehicles since 89. Crazy.

Anyway that old 89 took us all over the southwest when I was young.

    Thanks for the derail hahahahahahaha.
