    Cruise Control Question

Now my lady wants me to drive to Ana Marie Island, Florida from Atlanta. 8 hr trip. I told her hell no until we get a Rostra cruise kit. I was quoted $560 for install/parts. Anyone recommend this product?

I’ve had Rostra kits installed in two other vehicles that I owned. They worked great and I had no issues with them whatsoever. It’s probably more important to choose a reputable installer though.

Only place I could find was an audio place, go figure. Hardly anybody has experience around here in Frankensteining a rostra stalk to a Mirage. Question, if you can see an outline for the cruise control symbol near your speedometer, does that mean everything is already in place for an easier Rostra install? Will the cruise light come on with an after market part like the Rostra?

Why not activate your Mirage cruise control? It will be cheaper than a Rostra kit and is reported to improve on fuel economy.

Contact Daox. I believe he has a kit for sale. I don't know the specs on it, but here's his link. https://mirageforum.com/forum/showth...t-now-for-sale!

Read this over, it may help or @ least give you some other ideas...

I read your article, great writing! I love Cleveland's new tourism advert, "At least were not Detroit!" lol hilarious. Your town has a great sense of humor.

I'm pretty sure the factory cruise control has been activated on the DE.

I would imagine even a dealer could do it at a price competitive with a Rostra kit install, if you didn't want to try it yourself.

I'm sorry - I don't understand what you mean here? And what article?
