My review of $15 eBay car cover

    https://www.ebay.com/itm/Water-Resis...S/173711498981

It is a tight fit but it seems to work okay for light duty usage. Takes about 30 seconds to put it on. It should be good to keep the sun and rain off of your car if you will not be driving it for a few days.

I will update the review after 3 months. The side mirrors do fit perfectly into the little pockets. There is no strap to cinch down the cover nor any holes that a rope would go into. So if you live in a place with alot of wind then forget about it.

Update: If I removed the radio antenna from the roof (It unscrews to remove it) I think the cover would then lay flat. I think I may just do that because I havent listened to am/fm radio in over 2 years.

I have a similar one for my Saab convertible. Keeps the bugs, tree sap, and bird sh!t off, which is about all I expect it to do for what it cost.

Looks like a great fit on your Mirage there, I want to get a cover for my Mirage. I wonder if you can get that same car cover in black.

I like the cover very much, but I'm concerned about it not being breathable. It could trap moisture and promote rust. I have a breathable cover for my Vette. Granted, that cover cost considerably more money, but it doesn't trap moisture at all. It is also smooth on the inside to avoid scratching. One thing to note about a car cover, you must never put it on a dirty car. It will make the dirt scratch into the paint. I always use detailing spray on my Vette, in between washes, right before the cover goes on.

My $1000 Miata's top leaks, so I made a basic cover out of boat shrink wrap. It doesn't breathe, and it's already scuffed the paint (ifrom flapping in the wind).

For the amount of time it took me to whip it up, I wish I could have just bought a $15 cover.

It certainly is not breathable AT ALL. Actually I dont recommend the cover. We have had some wind the last day or 2 and the cover gets flipped up and I have to pull it back down so the fact that it is such a tight fit is a bad thing in this case. I doubt it will last over 6 months total. People would be better off to spend more for something that will last years instead of months.

    Like Budge brand

Now I have to invent some Jerry-rigged thing like make small bags of sand and hang them from the back 2 corners (thats where the wind flips up the cover. It stays put in the front because the side mirror pockets keep it from moving. But the rear of the car gets flipped up because teh wind gets underneath like a parachute.
