I guessed that 2 years ago. I can't believe I was actually right about it.

Any chance of offering upgraded door speakers as part of the RF package to better match the amplifier? Or do you have a suggestion of an existing RF product that would be a good match for the rest of the system? The door speakers seem like the weak link.

I have Brand X stuff in my car now, but that's largely because little was understood about the RF systems when they were introduced. I don't think anyone on the forum had installed one of these systems back in early 2016 and I didn't want to be the beta tester.

For what it's worth, this was my first amplifier back in the "old" days...

    Hi Dan,

Do you have any information, or any specs, about the Mitsubishi speakers that are in the Mirage? I was thinking about swapping them out for 6.5" Kicker 2-way or 3-way speakers. I have them already. At the moment, I am not sure if they are 2 or 3-way speakers. Do you think the Kicker speakers would be a good upgrade to compliment the RF Premium Audio System?

    Larry

We've not tested the system with other speakers so I cannot comment. The stock speakers are just dual cone speakers (with whizzer cone to extend high frequency), but we tuned our EQ to make the most of them.

Select the tune that matches your year and model radio.
