Thread: Mirage 2014, grinding noise/burning smell/ clutch linkage broken? ... SOLVED!

    Get a friend to accelerate in tight circles while you are near the ground in the middle of the radius. Youd be amazed how different a location can sound when outside compared to in.

    For the rubber smell, buy a 5lb extinguisher and ignore it until it becomes worse, or better. What type of dirt? Damp loam smells horrible on exhaust.

    Solved! the burning smell has mostly gone away. I have no idea what it was really from. The grinding noise was a wheel bearing issue. it was not making a rumble noise at highway speeds, only when accelerating at low speeds or turning to the left! very odd and thank you to everyone that helped!
