    Oxygen sensor p0132

I have a mirage 2014. A code appears p0132. I have to replace the sensor. My car have just 1 sensor just right before the catalityc. It has NTK oza639m9 but I don't know if it is the original. Can I use a universal sensor Denso? Could you tell me the correct number part?
Does your mirage have just 1 sensor too?

Every Mirage I've looked at and every other vehicle I can think of built after 1995(in Canada) has an O2 sensor before and after the Cat. I wasn't able to find an upstream NTK sensor part number. Found Denso though here https://www.rockauto.com/en/catalog/...2)+sensor,5132

Weird. You must have a different throttle body then too? Do you have a maf in the air cleaner?

Since the O2 sensor after the cat is only to monitor converter efficiency, maybe there are countries where converters still aren't required?

I just found this quote on a website talking about cars in Panama (I found it on the web so take it for what it's worth)...

Cars sold in the United States have been required to have catalytic converters since 1975 but that is not the case in Panama...we don’t have any environmental requirements so there aren’t very many catalytic converters or people who can repair them.

    Yep, sadly true.
I found this so I think my car is from Malaysia.

You need the VIN to look it up in ASA and up comes the part number. The same website that has the FSM also has the ASA.

The two are different sensors. One is a LINEAR oxygen sensor, and that is much more expensive and much more accurate and saves gas compared to a regular sensor. Thats the difference in price.

They hardly break at all, so maybe its not broken. I certainly would double check before ordering.
