For sure, we got health care because of a guy named Tommy Douglass in Saskatchewan. I think the actor Donald Sutherland is related to him somewhow. Tommy was a sort of democratic socialist baptist politician. They had the first public health care.

Canada is more like European, I feel especially if you travel to Quebec. Even the government systems and legal systems there it's Napoleonic code, it's completely different.
