JBL GX602 with stock Head unit vs rear comparison

    https://youtu.be/WAOTRpXF4sE

Front have the stock speakers and rear have the JBL installed. On a Mitsubishi Mirage Hatchback 2018. The Head unit is stock. It is louder, much clearer, and the bass has more punch. The stock speakers on the rear was fabricated to fit in the JBL.

Front speakers with JBL GTO629 with GX602 at the rear

Front speakers have been upgraded to JBL GTO 629 since the GX602 at the rear is just too good. Whats best about this is that the there are some tones that the stock speaker dont produce or its sounded like very muffled note but the JBL can produce all notes, since the stock speaker doesn’t have a tweeter. This is probably the best speaker i’ve ever heard. Very sharp and crystal clear.

It's even better if you use component speaker in front. I installed jbl gto-609c in my mirage with tweeter placed on door sail panel, it produce better soundstaging.

Are you using an amp for that setup, since it requires more power.

I would agree that separate tweeters would make a nice addition to this kind of audio update.
