Very outer tread worn on rears. Middle and inside tread doung good and matching the fronts in depth.

Helpful link! Good to know manufacturers date, just wish there was a date to know when the tires where put on and ridden.

My tires were manufactured in Oct 2016. 2 and a half years old. Sounds par for course considering I was already planning on replacing rears every 2 years. Thanks for the good detective work fellas!

Yep, no go from Mitsubishi Corp. They used the independent alignment report against me. Claiming it establishes that Im barely within official Mitsubishi specs. At this point Im over it. Best I can do is rotate my tires every 5k miles, keep em a lil over recommended psi, and just plan on buying 175s every couple of years.

Since your alignment is within specifications, I hope you are no longer angry at Mitsubishi Corporate.

Ok, thanks for posting those photos - a picture is worth a thousand words.

Those tires look like they were underinflated for most of their life, but to my untrained eye look to have normal wear.

I have a sneaking suspicion that those tires were worn down on another vehicle before being installed on your Mirage. Just a guess.

I am mad at Mitsu Corp though. The independent alignment test was run by a trusted specialist. He said my tires are dragging and Ill be unnecessarily eating tires every couple of years. Mitsu is being flippant about the issue, even with proof my rear axle isnt normal or ideal. Their specifications are suspect in order to save them $ Im guessing. Still, as Ive learned, it could be much worse I get that. My tires are 2 and a half years old.

Hey, at least with a heavier rear toe in the car should get bounced around less by winds.

Also with those specs, you have some sort of different issue at play. Plenty of vehicles run in the .2-.4 range out back, cars with a lot more than 350lb over each rear wheel as well.

Oh great just when I thought I could get barely by with a my adjustment specs, your saying its something else worse? Please elaborate?
