    45 year old guy buys his first new car!

    I'm upgrading from a 2003 Toyota Echo with over 220K on it. Hope this little car is just as good!

    Details

    Will be adding front and rear mud flaps and if I can find one a guard for the rear bumper where the hatch door is.

    Also going to add fog lights ASAP!

    Will be buying a center console, and adding all weather floor mats.

    Has a fancy touch screen radio in it already, but no CD player so I don't know if I will ever replace it.

    Edit: That red looks sharp. If you can get 220,000 miles out of a Toyota Echo, I'm sure you'll get to enjoy your Mirage for a long time.

    It's been a nice first few weeks of ownership.

    I'm taking it in to have it undercoated and to have front and rear mud flaps installed. I ordered a set off Ebay, and I'm having my local mechanic install them. I bought 12 cans of Rustolium professional undercoating. hopefully it will be enough!

    Next up is Fog lights and then before mid summer I'd like to add Cruise control. In the fall I'll get some all weather floor mats and then this little car should be good to go!
