A consensus on the range of personality types that own Mirages

One thing Ive noticed since being on here is the rich collection of differing personalities sharing their experiences with owning this polarizing yet beloved car.
Everything from gear heads, DIY'ers, novices like myself, and much more. I was hoping to get an idea of the typical owner? Maybe age, ocupation, favorite movie, a roll call if you will? Ill start.

Certainly not rich, but not poor either.

Rich as in plentiful not as in assets. My apologies for confusion.

I picked the Mirage on purpose because it was exactly what I wanted. Inexpensive, reliable, efficient small car. I love econoboxes and the Mirage is the last one standing. I’ve owned a couple of Dodge Colts (Mirages) and four Geo Metro’s in the past. The Mirage has faults of course but when my co workers cry about their huge SUV payments and the $400 a month they spend in fuel I just laugh. Most of them say they would never own one but go ahead sheeple and flush a grand a month down the toilet just to impress yourself and friends. Spending huge sums of money to just transport yourself from point A to point B is a complete waste of $$ (in my opinion). All that money I DON’T spend every month goes into my wallet and bank account so I can spend my $$ on stuff I like to do.

29, Sys Admin, 18mi 100% freeway commute, and The Matrix trilogy.

I bought my Mirage GT because even the top-of-the-line trim level has "upgraded" features (push-button start, HID projectors, Android Auto, etc) for cheaper than the base trims of the competition that don't. Plus the warranty is leagues longer than everyone else (not that I plan on using it anytime soon ;P )

Quick background, started "hooning" around with cars, specifically with Mitsu's in my younger years. Owned a 92' Galant VR4, 96' Eclipse GSX, 02' Maxima. Got the Mirage because the Maxima was slowly falling apart. Best A-to-B car I've ever had. Fits most of my photography equipment as well. The Mirage looks superbly easy to work on, according to forum members, it is super easy!

I am a firm believer that your Daily Driver is an appliance. And I believe that appliance should simple, efficient, functional, and a value. The Mirage checks all of those boxes and more. I have lots of cars that serve different purposes, some of which do nothing more that destroy tires. They all hold a special place in my heart.

P.S. I miss my Mirage terribly
