    mileage getting better with age

My car is a 2014 and it seems that the mileage is slowly getting better and better. Maybe I am a better driver than I used to be but it's still quite nice.

Mileage will improve once the car has about 500-1000 miles of break-in on it, which I am sure yours has. I also discovered that the more I got used to the car's power band and gearing the more mileage I was able to eek out of it.

Hey El Kapitan, that's good news right there - and in a colder climate no less.

It would be helpful to us all if you made a forum Garage entry. That way we'd all know what you have. You can use the link under your forum name in the left column of your post, or use this:

I am observing improved mileage lately...and I think one reason is because my Low Rolling Resistance tires are about 85% worn out. The only thing with less rolling resistance than a good LRR tire is a good LRR tire that has almost no tread left.

Maybe it's the high gas prices making mileage better? lol
