Toronto area driving has lots of traffic, big city driving, it's a lot like Atlanta Georgia actually. Many lanes and many cars, and many exits and entrances.

Northern Ontario and Quebec, or out West it is a bit different. More remote. More like Maine, and then more north getting into Alaska-looking territory. Not much traffic. Even the highway rest stops are primitive.

Rather tight corner, leads immediately onto highway (corner actually doesn't straighten until ON the highway), there is no merge lane, traffic is doing 100-125.

If you stop mid corner, you have about 150' to get up to speed. Any further back and you can't see traffic.

Half the problem in this situation that nobody has brought up is-- traffic coming along on the freeway there, they should be changing lanes for you when you're merging onto the highway. They should give you the courtesy to give you the room to join the freeway, and then get up to speed in the slower right lane.

Part of being an attentive driver is watching out for cars merging onto the highway.

Then again literally being seen in the first place driving a small car by other cars in ugly merging spots, is another problem.

Great video of a Raillart veteran driver showing what the Mirages can truly do in regards to accelerating and handling quick maneuvers.

And here I thought it would be another Scotty Kilmer video.

Wouldn't it be something if Scotty actually took a Mirage around a track?
