Started reading this thread, excited because I'm pretty sure the news item I saw last week was about flotownj, along the lines of "Vet takes kid for fun charity lapping event in a slow car." (Turned up in my Mirage-related Google alerts.)

Yeah I got fluid and filters in the mail yesterday so you know what I will be doing this weekend!

It would have been nice to have an OBD reader to see how hot the trans and engine temp was on the track. That's something I may take with me if I take this thing on a track again.

I think a pair of truck nutz on the back end would do nicely IMO. I put a Japanese war flag on mine for laughs.

I run a higher psi on track days. For the whole (I want my tire to stay on my rim) reason.

A roll over doing 90mph on a track is WAY WAY WAY less dangerous than getting tboned in an intersection doing 20mph.
