    Offset

    Hi

I have a 2014 Mitsubishi Mirage Hatchback. I want to know were can I see on the stock rims are its offset? Does anybody here can provide me the offset of the stock rim of the mirage? By the way the stock rim is 15 inches, stock rubber size is 175/55/r15.

Here in the US we only had 14x4.5" wheels from the factory in 2014/2015. These 14x4.5 wheels had an offset of +46mm.

I'm not exactly sure how wide your 15" wheels are because they were never available here. They are somewhere between 4.5-5.5 inches wide. I think I remember someone saying the 15" wheels on the GT models have a +38mm offset.

    The stock '17+ hatchback wheels in 15" are a 15x5 +46 offset.

    The stock G4 15" wheels are a 15x5 +38.

If the G4 stock offset is 38 does that mean I can run 15s with a 38 offset on the hatchback without issues?

    I found a great set of 15 with a 38 offset.

What is the width of the wheel...and what size tire are you planning on using?

The wheel is typical I think, 5.5 wide. The tires will be the 185R55-15 422+ Bridgestones. Will it fit indicates the tires will stick out, I forget, about 20 some mm. I don't know what means in terms of clearance with the wheel well lip. If 46mm offset works with the same tire does 38mm offset simply mean there's an extra 8mm protusion of the /wheels/tires?
