install new HU pioneer AVH-1300NEX - newbie questions

im not an american so my english is not so well but i've tried to write this post as clear as i can.

i've mirage 2014 (made in Thailand) with some unbranded Chinese junk system (see attachment).
i own this car for 2 years and i cant live with the current HU so i've decided to buy this one PIONEER AVH-1300NEX

before i will buy a new dash panel i want to try to install it on the current dash panel (i dont care if there will be a gap).

the most important thing to me is the steering wheel control. i've read many threads here in this forum to learn as much as i can about my car.

if i understand correct the easy way is to buy some adapter(?) for that purpose? or if i want to save some bucks i can do it myself?

which Wiring Harness I need to buy?

Beside that there is anything that i should know before installing myself the new HU?

Steering wheel control? You mean cruise control, to give your leg a rest on long trips?

Im talking about the steering wheel control buttons. Not the cruise control. Im going to buy metra axxess interface and i hope to find the right wired

Ah I see! Sorry. Do Mitsubishis sell well in Israel?

Not a lot. But since the mirage came in 2013 they start to sell if quite fast. It's really good car for single, student, young ppl etc...
The price for new mirage in Israel is 25K$

25k American dollars?!? You could buy 2 brand new here in the states for that much. Why so expensive?

Because here in Israel we pay 100% tax from the car price. So yes compared to usa the price is insane.

100% tax?!? I guess they only want rich people driving? That's completely unfair, Im sorry to hear that.

They want people to use public transportation. But the public transportation is good enough only in the main cities. You have to own a car in Israel. It's must.
The only thing that is cheaper here in Israel compared to usa is the medical services.
