do you look at your tire pressure i alway keep it at 3.8-4 bar!

have done that with al my cars i owned never any problem.
the ride is a little harder but the mirage/spacestar is comfortable already

It's way above the prescribed pressure the tire normally can handle and operate normally. I keep it above normal at 2.6-3.0 but I will not go higher than 3.0 It's not even healthy for the tire as it will not wear evenly. Not to mention less grip on the road.

Very impressive fuel mileage d1754! That is mileage similar to what drivers were getting in some of the fuel economy competitions that we've posted about.

I run all my tires at 3.5 bar without any abnormal wear issues too. I have for years now. I even occasionally measure my tread depth with a caliper to make sure its even and its always very close.

    d1754 - Impressive!

Please post more info (traffic conditions, speed, driving technique)

Others have gotten similar results, but in economy run competitions, eg:

    - New Zealand Mirage economy run: 3.3L/100 km (30.3 km/L, 71.3 mpg US) CVT
    - Mirage economy run Thailand: 31.9 km/L (3.1L/100km, 75 mpg US) 5-spd
    - Video: Malaysia economy run Jan, 2013: 27 km/L avg; 30.6 kmL top (3.3 LHK, 72 mpg US)

I am driving along the national highway with less traffic at a speed of 60 - 70 kph only to a distance of 20 km.
