Would you buy this colour combination?

I had a search on Auto Trader UK and stumbled across this. Now at first I wanted to run to the medicine cabinet, however I held back, necked some coffee and had a 10 minute break. Upon returning I had another eyeball on it and I got to like it, eyecatching it certainly is, different it certainly is. This is an early model of the Mirage, a 2013, launched in 2012.

Yes. It looks like that person was trying to copy the Citreon DS3's color scheme. Name: 2011-citroen-ds3-racing-exterior-front.jpg

I puked a little at first as well. It's how I picture a 6 year old would color a car. Looks kinda similar to what they're doing on the 19' ES Limited in Canada. But they just paint everything black instead of orange. Not sure why people started painting roof's black. To try to make the ac work just a little bit harder or melt snow off easier in the winter?

I think this colour combo looks pretty good actually. Normally I don't like much customizing, but this is done in the right direction. Black and orange, and black and red, look good together.

I know this is someone's personal work, but also I think there is a special edition Mirage with this colour scheme from the factory, not 100% sure on that one.

Not my cup of coffee, but at least the paint job & wheels are done nice.

Which is faster - stickers or a paint job? I say paint.

It was listed as a Port installed accessories called “Colorline Orange”. Bigger spoiler, side air dams, mirror covers and other bits. I’ve only seen 1 In a pic from another thread here. It was a $1000 US option so needless to say it wasn’t a hot seller.

Too much black for me. Maybe if it had more orange? Like, a lot more orange.

Sure would have been nice if Mitsubishi offered a bigger spoiler for every Mirage colour. Like as an accessory upgrade from the regular spoiler.

Mirage accessories' costs really add up quick. The only accessory I would have gotten for sure is a real spare tire.

Luckily my then-new in 2014 Mirage came with a real spare.

Anyways, I would have upgraded my spoiler on my grey Mirage for sure.
