Really strange that they needed 'fitting'. I have installed 2-3 sets of these with no problems.

I had lots that fit perfect and few that ended up like that. I guess next time I'll send the pads back as defective. Whoever makes that plate might have to fix their mold. And like foama mentioned that pad isn't seated properly, but I assume you woulda caught that?

Yeah, I did catch it. I had to file down the pins to get them to fit correctly. I'm wondering if the previous owner didn't catch it and mashed the calipers which buggered up the holes a bit so now they don't just drop in? In any case, they fit good now.

I'd blame the pads themselves. It seems like the pins on the pads were too close together if I recall correctly?

Nope, these pins were too far away.

Maybe I'm wrong. I hit my head a lot.

Yeah, they were close but not close enough.

After a few trips now I can say I am definitely liking these new pads. They definitely have more grab to them than my old ceramic pads of unknown brand. Despite the fitment issues (which I think is probably due to poor installation of the previous brake pads messing up the caliper holes), they are worth it.
