1992 Mitsubishi Expo LRV
I just read your article on your own site regarding the 92 Expo LRV. It is an interesting car. However, I totally agree with you regarding the 87 16 valve Scirocco. I had an 8 valve 84 1/2 Scirocco but never a 16 valve. I would have loved to have a MKI Scirocco even if it was a 1.6 or 1.7 liter with a 4 speed.
Subcompact Culture (07-24-2019)
Almost all of my cars have been small ones, with the exception of my very first which was a behemoth land yacht (1964 Pontiac Catalina 4-dr hardtop 389 V8).
Here are just the subcompacts (that I can recall ) ...
- six (6) 1st gen 1979-1984 VW Rabbits (ie. Golfs for itschad and others over the pond)
- 1979 AMC Spirit (Gremlin, basically), given to me by a relative... probably the worst car I ever had.
- 86 Toyota Tercel 4-dr hatch
- five (5) 1991-2000 Chevrolet Metros/Pontiac Fireflies (still have 3 of them), not counting a couple of extra parts cars
- 2004 Toyota Echo 2-dr hatch - probably the best screwed-together small car of the lot
- 1990 Mazda Miata (still have, currently driving)
